Village Agents bridge the gap between the local community and the statutory and
voluntary organisations able to offer help or support. The service is aimed
primarily at the over 50s and is based in the rural parts of the county.
Village Agents:
· provide high quality information;
· put people in direct contact with the agencies that are able to provide the
services they need;
· can carry out a series of practical checks;
· identify unmet needs within their communities.
